Sending multiple documents?
FaxSeal credits bring the per-fax price down to $0.60 — perfect for medical offices, insurance agencies, and law firms that sign and fax regularly. Credits never expire.
Not a multi-party e-sign workflow? DocuSign, HelloSign, and Adobe Sign are designed for collecting signatures from others — with routing, reminders, and audit trails. FaxSeal Sign & Fax is for the opposite use case: you sign a document and you fax it right now. No envelope setup. No per-seat pricing. No waiting.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to sign and fax?
No account required. Upload your PDF, sign it, enter a fax number, and pay. The certified receipt is emailed to you — nothing to log in to.
What types of documents can I sign?
Any PDF. Medical consent forms, insurance releases, VA forms, real estate disclosures, legal retainers, government forms. If it's a PDF, you can sign it.
Is the electronic signature legally binding?
In the US, electronic signatures are recognized under ESIGN (2000) and UETA for most commercial and personal documents. Medical consent forms, insurance releases, and most business agreements qualify. Certain categories — wills, court orders, real estate deeds in some states — have specific requirements; check with your recipient if unsure.
What does the certified receipt prove?
The receipt contains the SHA-256 cryptographic hash of the exact signed document you faxed, the recipient's fax number, and the delivery timestamp. The hash permanently ties the receipt to that specific signed version — if the document is ever altered, the hash won't match.
What if I need multiple signatures or initials?
You can place multiple signature or initials annotations on any number of pages before faxing. All annotations are baked into the transmitted PDF.
What if the fax fails to deliver?
You are never charged for an undelivered fax. Your card authorization is released immediately. You can retry with a different number.
Can I download the signed PDF as well as fax it?
Yes. After signing, you can download the signed PDF for your own records before or after faxing. The download is included in the Sign & Fax price.
How is this different from DocuSign or HelloSign?
E-sign platforms are built for multi-party workflows — request a signature, wait for the other party, get a notification. FaxSeal's Sign & Fax is one-person, one-step: you sign it and fax it right now. No waiting, no workflow setup, no per-seat subscription. Perfect for medical, insurance, and government forms where you sign and submit.
