Frequently asked questions
How many recipients can I send to at once?
Up to 500 recipients per broadcast. All faxes are transmitted simultaneously using FaxSeal's carrier infrastructure.
How is the cost calculated?
Each recipient is charged the standard credit rate: 1 credit for 1–5 pages, 2 credits for 6–15 pages, 3 credits for 16–30 pages (US/Canada). International recipients cost 2× (Europe, AU, JP) or 3× (rest of world) more. The total is shown before you confirm — credits are only deducted when you submit.
Can I import a fax number list from Excel or CSV?
Yes. Click "Import CSV" on the broadcast page and upload any plain-text or spreadsheet export with one number per column or row. Commas, semicolons, and newlines are all accepted as delimiters.
Does each recipient get a separate delivery receipt?
Yes. Every fax in a broadcast generates its own certified delivery receipt — a signed PDF with SHA-256 hash of the transmitted document, timestamps, and a verification URL. You can download receipts individually or track all deliveries from the broadcast results page.
What if some faxes fail?
Each job retries automatically up to 3 times with exponential backoff. If a fax ultimately fails, the credit for that recipient is refunded. The rest of the broadcast is unaffected.
Do all recipients receive the same document?
Yes — one PDF is sent to every recipient. If you need different documents per recipient, submit separate single-fax jobs. Broadcast is designed for one-to-many distribution of the same content.
