Tips for sending from a computer

🖨️

Print to PDF from any app

No PDF? In any app on Mac or Windows, go to File → Print → Save as PDF (Mac) or Microsoft Print to PDF (Windows). Then upload that file.

✍️

Sign in the browser

Use the built-in signing tool at faxseal.com/tools/sign. Draw, type, or upload a signature image — no printing, no scanning, no separate app.

🔗

Fax from a URL

Have a document URL? FaxSeal can fetch PDFs directly from a link. Useful for Google Drive shared files or direct PDF links.

📧

Send from email instead

Prefer not to leave your email client? Use fax-by-email: attach the PDF and send to [email protected] from any mail client.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install any software to fax from my computer?

No. FaxSeal runs entirely in your browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. No plugin, extension, or desktop app required.

Do I need a fax machine or landline?

No. FaxSeal connects to the telephone network on your behalf. You only need a browser and internet access.

How do I create a PDF if I only have a Word document or image?

You can print any document to PDF. On Mac: File → Print → PDF → Save as PDF. On Windows: File → Print → Microsoft Print to PDF. Alternatively, upload the Word doc or image directly — FaxSeal converts it automatically.

Can I sign a document on my computer before faxing?

Yes. Use FaxSeal's free signing tool at faxseal.com/tools/sign. Draw your signature with a mouse, type it, or upload an image of your signature. Place it anywhere on the document and fax from the same screen.

Is there a limit on file size or page count?

Up to 20MB and 20 pages per fax. For longer documents, use FaxSeal credits — each credit bundle tier supports larger page counts.

What if I send faxes regularly for work?

Credit bundles are the most cost-effective option for regular use. Credits never expire, and each fax gets its own certified receipt. Teams can share a credit pool and a dedicated fax number.
